We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Imaging Specialist to join our team at Rezolut. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening, diagnostic, and interventional mammography procedures using GE 3D Pristina Mammography Equipment.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
- Develop and coordinate patient care plans, communicating effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate mammography images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Assist in data compilation and statistical analysis to inform departmental improvements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing all breast imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Mammography license and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification within one year of hire.
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Minimum two years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with preference given to those with prior mammography experience.
