Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical and sales training encompassing installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, product knowledge, and basic applications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and enhance training curricula as needed.
- Lead the creation of technical training programs, including the development of relevant training materials such as presentations, videos, and manuals.
- Prepare training facilities and laboratories in advance of training sessions.
- Uphold training facility standards, ensuring equipment and tools are well-maintained.
- Provide comprehensive training support, including communication, promotion, and coordination of product and technical training initiatives.
- Act as a liaison among sales, product marketing, service, and training departments.
- Participate in educational or industry conferences, with the capability to present at such events.
- Conduct audits of technical trainers at levels 1 and 2, as well as experienced independent trainers.
Qualifications:
- HVAC degree or certification is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance, with at least 5 years in facilitating product and technical training.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Experience in training within the technical service sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products and controls.
- Demonstrated success in service and customer relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Capability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Aptitude for effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from management, students, and customers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical business literature, professional journals, and technical procedures.
- Competence in writing reports, business correspondence, and developing course curricula.
- Customer-focused mindset, proactively seeking ways to exceed customer expectations; detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment and demonstrate individual initiative.
