We are seeking a skilled Rehab Technician to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Rehab Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and mobility support to our patients.

• Perform patient care and mobility tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Coordinate patient care and mobility activities with registered nurses and therapists as needed.
• Maintain patient activity assignment sheets and document patient care and mobility activities in the patient record.
• Perform additional documentation as assigned.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal care and comfort needs.
• Maintain necessary supplies and equipment to promote patient care and mobility activities.
• Notify supervisors of patient supply and equipment needs.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience as a nursing assistant highly preferred.
• Maintain functional knowledge of equipment common to the unit.
• Utilize and care for equipment on nursing units.
• Meet continuing education requirements, including CPR and unit-specific competencies.
• Maintain knowledge and resources necessary to provide appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and report appropriately.
