Overview

Cramer Fish Sciences, a leading fisheries research consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Fisheries Biologist to join our team. Our mission is to provide innovative, scientifically robust solutions to address various fisheries and environmental challenges.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Fisheries Biologist with expertise in salmon ecology, habitat use, and restoration. The successful candidate will lead projects, supervise staff, and manage budgets. They will also coordinate field data collection, analyze data using GIS and R, and write technical reports.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead complex aquatic resource studies with public and private partners.Conduct fieldwork, collect and analyze data, and develop project proposals.Collaborate with Principal or Senior Scientists to develop project reports and publications.Maintain client relationships, attend meetings, and distribute project updates.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in fisheries, biology, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience, or an MS/PhD in a science-related discipline and 3 years of experience. They must also have excellent writing skills, demonstrated by authorship on reports and scientific publications.
