Job Responsibilities

As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to care for patients connected to machines that monitor their electrocardiogram and heart rate information. You will read and interpret data to determine the best course of patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Graduate degree from an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD). No previous experience is required, but you must hold a Registered Nurse license and obtain CPR-BLS certification. Additionally, you will need ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications before completing our orientation program.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced Telemetry department, maintaining a professional appearance at all times and handling confidential information with discretion. Your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment will be essential in delivering quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Hendrick Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
