Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Nurse Professional to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. About the Role

The Dialysis Nurse Professional will be accountable for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This will include assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient responses to treatment. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in training and mentoring new staff members, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring that all patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and improve overall patient satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • 6 months of experience in acute dialysis as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
  • Current appropriate state licensure and CPR BLS Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes
