JOB SUMMARY:
At Russ Hubler CDJR, we are expanding our team and are in search of an Automotive Body Repair Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess ASE certifications and demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and determine necessary parts for repairs; thoroughly review repair orders and estimates; adhere to warranty protocols; inform supervisor of any additional repair requirements.
  • Execute adjustments, replacements, and repairs on various truck and trailer components, including sheet metal, fiberglass, and structural welding, as well as electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles as needed to verify the quality of repairs.
  • Stay updated on job-related skills and knowledge, including the repair processes of truck manufacturers.
  • Perform tasks as detailed in repair estimates with precision and efficiency, in line with dealership and factory standards.
  • Disassemble and inspect vehicles for any additional or concealed damages.
  • Communicate with the body shop estimator regarding any extra damage or supplementary requirements, or if repairs will not be completed within the expected timeframe.
  • Oversee the work of apprentice technicians and maintain current ASE certifications.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in welding, suspension, and framework is advantageous, or a willingness to learn and train.
  • Preferred ASE Certifications in Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, and State Vehicle Inspector.
  • Possession of the above certifications or equivalent experience, along with a desire for professional growth.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
