Job Title: Registered Vascular Sonographer About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Registered Vascular Sonographer to join our team at a prestigious medical center in Hilo, Hawaii. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: * Perform routine and complex ultrasound examinations, including vascular and cardiac imaging * Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and examination results * Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care * Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques Requirements: * Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer * Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification * Minimum of two years' work experience in an acute hospital setting * Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and function independently without supervision Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation * Experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke About the Facility: Our medical center is a 276-bed state-of-the-art institution that provides a wide range of services, including 24-hour ER, cardiac care, EEG, oncology, and imaging.
