Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Ohio's Hospice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Hospice House and IPU settings, working night shifts and rotating every third weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on end-of-life care and related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions.
  • Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
  • CPR certification.
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
  • Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage.
