We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our business processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex cross-departmental functional analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Develop and implement business process modifications to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and expertise for our student information system, including troubleshooting and resolving application database problems.
- Collaborate with application developers and IT staff to solve complex procedural, operational, and technical problems.
- Develop and deliver training to district staff on the use of our student information system.
- Write, modify, and generate ad hoc queries and reports to support business decision-making.
- Three to five years of increasingly responsible experience in information systems analysis, including advising clients on technology solutions and conducting business process analyses.
- Knowledge of complex student information systems, including PeopleSoft, Banner, and Ellucian.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
