The Department of Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a visionary leader to head our esteemed Division of Rheumatology. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Division of Rheumatology and provide strategic direction for the department
• Develop and implement clinical research programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and other specialty services to advance patient care
• Recruit and mentor academic physicians to enhance the division's reputation and excellence
• Ensure compliance with academic and clinical standards

Requirements:

• Eligibility for academic appointment at the associate professor or professor level
• Recognized clinical expert in rheumatology with a strong background in program development and leadership
• Experience in directing clinical research and mentoring academic physicians
• Salary range: $280,000 - $300,000 commensurate with experience
