Maintain and clean all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as well as entire kitchen areas, adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of wares.
  • Daily ware washing and storage of food and beverage items in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain par levels of service-ready wares on a consistent basis.
  • Adhere to practices that maintain the highest level of health, hygiene, and safety.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
  • Load, run, and unload machines.
  • Report any mechanical problems to the manager immediately.
  • Bag and haul kitchen trash to the dumpster.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Monitor machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
Work Product:
  • Daily Checklist.
  • Kitchen areas being clean to OSHA standards.
Performance Measurement:
  • Attendance.
  • Supervisor/manager inspections.
  • Uniform and name tag.
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to take direction and ask questions if needed.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
