Position Overview:

Become a vital member of the team at Bethany Village Graceworks as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, where you will deliver exceptional care to clients while nurturing constructive relationships with colleagues, clients, and medical professionals. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement therapeutic interventions and assist individuals requiring support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute rehabilitation techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and temperature-based treatments.
  • Instruct clients on the proper use of mobility aids and supportive devices.
  • Guide individuals in various daily living activities and care for assistive devices.
  • Assess and modify treatment plans as necessary, communicating updates to supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Maintain precise documentation and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in Ohio.
  • At least three years of experience, preferably in long-term care settings.
