Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Oconto Health and Rehab. As a SLP, you will work alongside our growing department of therapists, empowering patients to participate in their activities of daily living. You will help develop strategies and treatment plans to support patient growth and ability to overcome challenges.

Job Functions:
  • Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
  • Develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
  • Instruct patients, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
  • Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems.
  • Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs.
  • Participate in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents and ensure timely and clinical excellence.
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency.
  • Current State license in Wisconsin.
