Job SummaryGet ready to make a difference in the lives of young children as a Preschool Teacher at the Greater East Texas Community Action Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
  • Provide individualized attention and support to children with diverse needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging activities and events
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school


Requirements
  • A.A. or B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with young children in a educational setting
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
