This is a mission-oriented organization where you will be part of an award-winning and supportive birthing center with a Level III NICU conveniently located close to Labor and Delivery. You will have access to an onsite lab and ultrasound and can expect a moderate volume of deliveries per month. This opportunity also offers a number of benefits, allowing you to enjoy a healthy work-life balance in north-central Indiana.
Mishawaka Medical Center has received Perinatal Certification through the Indiana Department of Health. Our Level III NICU handles all gestations, but transfers are for babies with surgical needs or ECMO. The campus has a moderate volume of deliveries per month with approximately total c-sections per month. There are eight labor rooms, four antepartum rooms, and post-partum rooms with overflow.
The schedule for this opportunity is flexible, offering 12- or 24-hour shifts.
Interested candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and have two to three years of experience. Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
