Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist 2 to join our team at Inova PSB Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe and clean operating environment
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of anatomy and surgical techniques

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Surgical Technologist registration required
• BLS certification via AHA
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification preferred
