Job Summary

Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in various hospital settings, including ICU/CCU, Tele/PCU, ER, PACU, OR, PEDS, NICU, L&D, and Post Partum units.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • RRT license required.
  • 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, with NICU experience preferred.
  • BLS, NRP, and CRT or RRT certifications required.
  • Ability to work nights, including every other weekend.
  • Flexibility to accommodate block schedules.
  • Locals accepted, pending license accepted.
  • No RTO restrictions.

Attendance Policy

Oklahoma State University Medical Center has a zero-fault attendance policy, which means that any missed scheduled shift, regardless of the reason, counts as unexcused. Two missed shifts will result in a warning, and three or more missed shifts may result in a cancellation.
