Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level II Technician to join our team at Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Kingsport, TN. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and defects using various NDT methods
  • Establish and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
  • Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Interpret radiographs, digital readouts, and other test results to identify defects and anomalies
  • Organize and report test results to stakeholders
  • Perform specialized inspections and may instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, VT, PMI, and CR
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment and experience in report writing
