IT Internship Opportunity

Vulcan Materials Company is a leading producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials. As a 2025 Summer intern in our Information Technology Organization, you will have the opportunity to work in one or more of the following areas:

IT PMO
Business Analysis & Documentation
Data Quality, Modeling & Reporting
Streamlining, Simplification, and Automation of ITIL IT Service Provided
Data Management for Digital Transformation
Information Security/Cloud Vulnerabilities

To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in good standing with your college, pursuing a Computer Science or MIS degree. Junior or Senior level is preferred. Previous work experience or internship is preferred but not required.

As an intern, you will be expected to demonstrate tenacity and the ability to work on teams and take instruction. You will also be required to communicate clearly (oral and written) and listen intently. Results-oriented self-starters who can work productively are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment :
The majority of your time will be spent in an office setting, though some time may be spent at an operations site for infrastructure projects and support. When this happens, you may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots in an operations environment. Intermittent overnight travel may also be required.
