Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver packages to customers
  • Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload packages from the vehicle, and organize daily loads
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with managers
  • Accurately operate a scanner to track delivery processes and accurately dispose of packages
  • Deliver entire routes in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license
  • Pass a drug test and a DOT physical
  • Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck
  • Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather
