Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare Eastern Dakotas. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule and work in a variety of long-term care and assisted living settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes as needed
  • Work with a team of nurse aides and/or medication aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Observe patient and notify facility supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license within South Dakota or ability to apply for reciprocity/endorsement
  • Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards
