Job SummaryWe are seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our team in Pittsburg, PA. This role will provide clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform administrative tasks, complete client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provide assistance at the front desk
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination, clean and sterilize instruments, and inventory and order medical supplies and materials
- Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests, give injections or treatments, and perform routine laboratory tests
- Schedule appointments and make follow-up phone calls to patients
- Key data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
- National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed
- CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) certification with hands-on evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor
- State Lab Certificate (NV only) preferred
Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
