Job Description

The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Hillcrest is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, including IV therapy and blood products, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, identifying any deviations from normal ranges.
  • Document patient care in the medical record, maintaining accurate and detailed records.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med-Surg RN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
