**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Program Coordinator to join our team at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Suncoast, Inc.

The successful candidate will assist in the planning, development, and implementation of programs and services to achieve the Formula for Impact for Club members. This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a passion for working with young people.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Suncoast, Inc. provides high-quality, out-of-school Club experiences to ensure our young people, especially those who need us most, are on track to graduate from high school with a plan for their future, demonstrate good character & citizenship, and live a healthy lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes;
  • Promote and stimulate program participation;
  • Register new members and participate in the club orientation process;
  • Provide guidance and role modeling to members;
  • Effectively implement and administer programs, services, and activities for club members and visitors;
  • Monitor and evaluate programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs, and appearance of the Club at all times;
  • Prepare lesson plans and various activities for members to engage in to promote diverse programming daily;
  • Ensure a productive work environment by participating in weekly staff meetings;

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with some college or college degree preferred;
  • 2-3 years' work experience in a Boys and Girls Clubs or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, highly preferred;
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications;
  • Valid driver's license and approved to drive by our insurance carrier (minimum age 21);
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Group leadership skills, including understanding of group dynamics;
  • Demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities;
  • Mandatory knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Suncoast, Inc;
  • Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
