Family Medicine Specialist with Virtual Care Opportunities
6 days ago
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a Virtual Primary Care Physician. Colonial Healthcare, part of the Optum family of businesses, is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients across the country.
As a member of our team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. You will work alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment that is guided by diversity and inclusion while driving towards the Quadruple Aim.
At Optum, you will have the clinical resources, data and support of a global organization behind you so you can help your patients live healthier lives. We believe you deserve an exceptional career, and will empower you to live your best life at work and at home.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the US and receive a generous guaranteed salary in your final year of training. Our customized program will be completed at American Health Network facilities in Indiana, or Ohio, and virtually.
Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. Today, however, there are still far too many barriers to good health which are disproportionately experienced by people of color, historically marginalized groups and those with lower incomes.
We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes. Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: OptumCare is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Our benefits package includes a comprehensive benefits plan, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution. The estimated salary for this role is $33,280 to $41,700 annually. Application deadline: This will be posted for a minimum of 2 business days or until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
