Job Summary:

The Anesthesia Technician will assist anesthesiologists, residents, and other healthcare professionals in preparing patients for anesthesia, setting up equipment, and monitoring anesthesia levels. This is a travel position, and the successful candidate will work in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for anesthesia, including setting up equipment and monitoring anesthesia levels.
  • Operate the cell-saver machine and participate in advanced surgical cases.
  • Provide primary support in ensuring that anesthesia equipment is in good working order and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in training staff in the roles and responsibilities of an Anesthesia Technician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Chief Anesthesia Technologist, or Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • BLS certification.
  • Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
  • A four-year college education, including related technical training, or a two-year college education with technical training and two years of experience.
