Travel Therapist Position for Experienced Physical Therapy Professionals

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Topeka, Kansas. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients and contributing to their recovery and well-being.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a passing score on the NPTE. They will also possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of referred patients to identify their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
- Develop and administer treatment programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals, under the direction of the physician.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document their progress, and educate them and their families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a passing score on the NPTE.
- Have graduated from an accredited school of physical therapy.
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Hold a current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist/PT or be actively pursuing licensure.
- Be certified in CPR.
