Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Gotham Health/Cumberland, an ambulatory FQHC community-based practice for the NYC Health + Hospitals System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonography and managing data collection and organization of the ultrasound rooms. This includes preparing the exam room for examinations, assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies, and reporting any abnormalities that require immediate attention.

Additionally, the Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for maintaining sonography equipment, conducting scan tests, and writing reports based on the results. The ideal candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision, prioritize multiple patients, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Completion of an AMA-approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Proficient in all areas of general Ultrasound
  • Ability to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
