About the Opportunity

HNI Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their Behavioral Health Team at Park Royal Hospital in Ft Myers. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of admission, conduct follow-up and discharge visits.
  • Provide services twice a week for our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Hospitalization Program (IHP).
  • Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, primary care physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and 24-hour clinical and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in psychiatric care and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements
  • Board certified, or board eligible, MD or DO with advanced graduate medical education and training in Psychiatry with ECT certification.
  • Current, unrestricted, Florida license to practice.
  • Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed state, prescriptive authority.
