Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Stratum Networks, a leading information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company, is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure for our Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute rollout plans for new Microsoft 365 features and services, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess current on-premises services and develop migration strategies to Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services, adhering to best practices and security standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of Microsoft 365 and Azure services, implementing proactive measures for continual service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve complex technical issues and enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience or HS/GED with 19 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with migrating on-premises services to Microsoft 365 and Azure, including identity management and integration.
  • Indepth understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks.
  • Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Competitive salary range of $119k - $247k depending on experience and contract.
  • Excellent benefits package, including up to 3 weeks paid vacation and 11 paid holidays.
