Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide direct clinical services for a variety of psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric care and a willingness to work with patients with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop treatment recommendations based on their psychiatric history, medical history, social and family history, and mental status exam.
- Establish rapport with patients and their social systems to facilitate understanding and acceptance of treatment recommendations.
- Prescribe and implement treatment consistent with diagnosis and relevant standards.
- Complete records accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Code services consistent with ethical and legal billing standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external clinicians, administrative staff, and management staff to provide high-quality care.
- 3 years of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to work in a part-time capacity with days available on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Strong understanding of psychiatric care and willingness to work with patients with substance use disorders.
Compensation will be dependent on geographic region, education, and experience. The compensation range is $70 per hour - $110 per hour.
