Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at WelbeHealth. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient-centered care to our vulnerable seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with performing tests and providing restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services to maximize participant independence, safety, and performance of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Coordinate with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on individual treatment plans.
  • Administer participant treatment programs as established by the occupational therapist.
  • Assist with obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
  • Track and maintain equipment maintenance.
  • Deliver and document occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established care plans.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant License or proof of eligibility.
  • Minimum of two years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population.
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant knowledge necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
