We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Florida, USA.
About the RoleAs a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for performing daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment, and performing with confidence both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily activities accurately and on time
- Maintain a safe and professional environment
- Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience
- Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 1 year
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
