Executive Chef

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and presented to our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cook. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty, you will be responsible for preparing menu items according to company policies and procedures, maintaining food costs, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.

• Preparation of cooking items, adhering to recipes, menu items, and prep procedures.
• Maintenance of kitchen equipment, preparation areas, coolers, and storage areas.
• Stock rotation, accurate portioning, and food product preparation.
• Control of food costs, understanding OSHA requirements, and health department standards.
• Cleaning of equipment and other areas as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

• Competitive salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year (estimated).

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in-house training.
• No prior experience required.

• Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to see at a distance (20) feet, at close range (12 inches), distinguish between shapes, and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.
