Administrative Support Specialist

Job Overview:
This role is a vital part of our production team at Penn United, providing exceptional administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily administration and customer service support for our production team
- Coordinate paperwork flow, data entry, inventory management, and reporting
- Provide clerical duties, including typing, copying, compiling data, maintaining records, and handling paperwork
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to ensure timely shipments and resolve any issues
- Perform quality assurance tasks to guarantee compliance with our Quality Management System
- Undertake various other duties and assignments to support the Carbide Manufacturing group
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior administrative experience in manufacturing preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ability to quickly learn required software
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or related field (not required but beneficial)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and computer-aided design (CAD) software (a plus)
