Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Dentist Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach assigned courses as scheduled, designing curriculum that fosters talent in students while modeling inclusive teaching strategies.
* Consider individual differences of students to design and support a range of appropriate learning activities.
* Participate in the identification of students with academic or other needs and respond by utilizing an appropriate resource.
* Use technology in a manner appropriate to the nature and objectives of courses and programs, communicating clearly to students the expectations concerning the use of such technology.
* Maintain accurate and appropriate records in accordance with departmental policies.

Student Engagement & Advisement:

* Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active and collaborative learning, student effort, academic challenge, student and faculty interaction, and support for learners.
* Encourage a sense of community among students for learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Culture of Respect:

* Foster and maintain a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from a CODA accredited dental school required.
* Dentist who is currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
* Must have a minimum of two years of clinical dental experience, 5+ years preferred.
* State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Compensation Details:

* Compensation: $55.88 per contact hour
* Contact Hour: Two hours equals one contact hour
* Hours: Maximum of 12 contact hours per week
