Key Responsibilities
  • Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values, including a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Streamlines the manufacturer assistance process, ensuring a seamless transition to our pharmacy programs.
  • Assists pharmacy advocate staff and patients in completing and submitting all necessary forms and program applications.
  • Completes and submits all necessary forms in a timely manner, tracking and following up on the status of applications.
  • Frequently works in Excel spreadsheets to create and analyze enrollment, use, and revenue tracking.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and third-party representatives.
  • Maintains frequent phone contact with provider representatives, third-party customer service representatives, and pharmacy staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy tech preferred or experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of pharmacy benefits.
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability and initiative to work independently or as a team member.
  • Ability to problem solve.
