Patient Admission Specialist

Job Summary: Select Specialty Hospital in Midtown Atlanta has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Admission Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing referral intake, patient admission, and communication with hospital departments.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Lead conversion calls to ensure smooth patient admissions\
- Verify Medicare benefits to ensure accurate payment processing\
- Maintain accurate data entry to prevent deficiencies\
- Ensure a 0% deficiency rate through regular quality checks\
- Physically admit patients in a timely and efficient manner\
- Collaborate with hospital departments to prepare for patient admissions\

Requirements:
\To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in a hospital or insurance environment, knowledge of medical terminology, and direct experience in third-party insurance verification. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
