Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication counseling, immunizations, and health education.
• Ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, including verifying patient information and monitoring for potential interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and safety.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.

• PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other pharmacy staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
