R E Garrison Trucking Inc is seeking a highly skilled Freight Hauler to transport goods and commodities across the country.
About the Job:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Freight Hauler to drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. and pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs. As a Freight Hauler, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a clean and well-maintained tractor-trailer
- Transport goods and commodities from place of origin to assigned destination
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to shipments or deliveries
- Participate in regular vehicle inspections and maintenance activities
- Meet and exceed performance standards and metrics
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
We require a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write, and ability to communicate in English. You must have twelve (12) months commercial driving experience within the last ten (10) years and a valid Class A driver's license.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
