Pediatric Nephrology Opportunities
We are seeking a skilled pediatric nephrologist to join our team at CHOC Children's Specialists. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide patient-centered care to a diverse population with robust inpatient/outpatient duties and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a leading pediatric hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient consultation services for medical/surgical services, PICU, NICU, CVICU, and oncology teams
- Deliver acute inpatient dialysis
- Attend outpatient clinics, including team-centered multidisciplinary clinics and outreach clinics
- Collaborate with local transplant centers for pre-transplant coordination of care
- Engage in continuing medical education activities and teach medical students and pediatric residents
- Clinical research and scholarly activities are encouraged and supported

Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligible in pediatric nephrology
- Completion of an accredited pediatric nephrology fellowship program
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of California (or eligibility for obtaining one)
- Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
