The Role

This position oversees all client accounts activities from auction through to payment and release on behalf of all internal and external clients, ensuring that all transactions comply with both internal and external financial rules and regulations.

  • Provide exceptional client service for a portfolio of sales.
  • Oversee billing and issuing of client-related financial outputs.
  • Manage 'no bid' clients and escalate requests as necessary.
  • Work closely with the bids office to reconcile information and avoid after-sale reinvoicing requests.
  • Take deposits or request bank references when necessary and process deposit refunds for unsuccessful bids.
  • Manage extended payment term requests in coordination with business managers/directors.
  • Proactively close sales financially by collecting and managing outstanding client debt.
  • Collaborate with client service operations to facilitate collection or shipments upon payment completion.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in business administration or equivalent field (preferred).
  • At least 4-5 years of related work experience (preferably in a professional/financial services field or debt collection in an international luxury business).
  • Excellent client service skills, including active listening, empathy, service orientation, and patience.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A flexible and pragmatic approach to situations and processes, with the ability to manage them to conclusion.
  • An understanding of how to escalate issues to management to ensure a smooth client experience.
  • Highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and work ethic.
  • Organized, methodical, and strong team spirit.
  • Ability to work independently and partner with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per year, as well as a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
