Key Responsibilities:
The Gastroenterology Physician will lead a care team to deliver exceptional, comprehensive health services to a diverse patient panel. This role involves providing medical guidance and leadership to ensure the highest standards of affordable healthcare are met.
• Deliver patient-focused, comprehensive specialty services aligned with a value-based care approach. Collaborate with our Primary Care Network to direct the Gastroenterology Division in offering superior patient care.
• Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives and assess practice performance metrics.
• Comply with privacy, regulatory, and quality standards of the practice, adhering to all established policies and protocols.
• Contribute to the adoption of innovative health technologies, products, and services that position the practice as a leader in community health and wellness.
• Execute additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in providing primary (longitudinal) care.
• Familiarity with managed healthcare systems, including quality assurance, quality improvement, risk management, and population health management.
• Strong collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Results-driven and self-confident.
