Estimator - Piping/Civil

A reputable contractor is in search of a skilled Estimator to develop comprehensive mechanical cost estimates for diverse projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Mechanical, Piping, Water/Wastewater, HVAC/Plumbing, and other relevant fields.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the industry
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in interpreting plans, cross sections, and specifications
  • Familiarity with public works and DBE regulations
  • Experience with digital estimating software
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and maintain bid schedules
  • Skilled in plan takeoff, bid preparation, and engaging subcontractors/suppliers
  • Competent in tracking competitive pricing
  • Collaborative team player
