Laundry Attendant Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities at the Sheraton Augusta Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing with precision and attention to detail.
  • Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Inspect linens for stains and damages, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure proper storage of clean linens, maintaining a tidy and organized laundry area.
  • Assist with inventory management of supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Experience in laundering, preferably in a hotel or similar setting, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of dry cleaning procedures is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization, with a keen eye for detail.
