Surface Finisher

About the Position

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a skilled Surface Finisher to join our team at the Greencastle PA - Hykes Road location. As a Surface Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our products by applying paint and coatings using electrostatic / air assist paint guns and other automotive type paint application devices.

Responsibilities:

• Apply paint and coatings to products using various techniques and equipment.
• Ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be able to do assigned work with a minimum amount of direction.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues as directed.
• 1 plus year(s) of painting experience in automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop.
• Safety glasses and safety shoes required at all times.
• Respirator required when painting and during some paint prep activities.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive pay of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
