Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

The Financial Crime Prevention Specialist will be responsible for leading the fraud prevention and detection efforts at Idaho Central Credit Union. This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to prevent and detect financial crimes, as well as working with law enforcement to investigate and prosecute those who have committed financial crimes against the credit union.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect financial crimes
* Work with law enforcement to investigate and prosecute financial crimes
* Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate financial crime risks
* Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in financial crimes
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent and detect financial crimes
* Provide training and education to employees on financial crime prevention and detection
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Minimum 4 years of experience in financial crime prevention and detection
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions:
* Work is performed in a standard office environment
* May require occasional travel to meet with law enforcement or attend training sessions
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to sit for long periods of time
* Must be able to use a computer and other office equipment
* Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and law enforcement
