As a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess Patient Health Status: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health to identify potential risks and develop effective care plans.
- Explain Procedures and Medications: Clearly communicate with patients about their surgical experience, including procedures, medications, and what to expect.
- Monitor Patient Care: Continuously monitor patients undergoing local anesthesia and document their care, treatment process, and response in the electronic medical record.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: Recognize potential risks to patients and take proactive steps to minimize them.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care throughout the patients' visit.
- Nevada Nursing License: Possess an active and unrestricted Nevada Nursing License or be able to obtain one.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Hold current ACLS certification.
- Nursing Experience: Have at least one year of nursing experience.
- Critical Care Experience: Possess one year of experience as an RN in a critical care environment.
Reno Orthopedic Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, paid time off, and more. This position is eligible for full-time benefits and typically works a 40-hour per week schedule.
