We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients' physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities to develop personalized occupational therapy plans.
- Design and implement interventions to help clients develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks and activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and training to clients and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
- When working at a Sanford Health Facility, must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
